We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2025, at the age of 94, Dorothy Louise Offutt (Georgetown, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Dorothy Louise may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dorothy Louise touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett "Doc" Offutt Sr. and Sarah Nervolia "Boli" Bratton Offutt; and her siblings, Bill, J. C. Offutt and Thelma Mitchell.
She is survived by: her brothers, Raymond Offutt (Betty Margaret) of Mt. Vernon and Everett Offutt, Jr. (late Penny) of Georgetown. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home (320 W Main St, Georgetown, KY 40324). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Georgetown Cemetery (710 S Broadway St, Georgetown, KY 40324).
