She was predeceased by: her husband Wilbur Jenkins; her parents, James T. Mefford and Ida Sams Mefford; her siblings, Dorothy Gregg, Martha Garnett, Lillian Barkley, Patsy Morris and James Mefford; and her grandson Kenneth Barker, II.
She is survived by: her sisters, Francis Fryman and Rose Curtis (Tommy); and her children, Joyce Barker (Kenny), Bonnie Sebastian, Debra Sherwood Jenkins (Bonnie), Tim Jenkins (Leandra) and Stephanie Covington (Bradley). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Johnson's Funeral Home (641 S Broadway St, Georgetown, KY 40324). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at the Georgetown Cemetery (710 S Broadway St, Georgetown, KY 40324).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bluegrass Hospice Care.
