We are sad to announce that, on December 17, 2025, at the age of 95, Hazel Louise Mefford (Georgetown, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Sharp and Arvie McCurdy Sharp. She is survived by: her children, Michael Mefford (Ann), Rabbit Sharp, Carl Alan Mefford and Carla Lee (Calvin); her grandchildren, Jessica Huff (Ryan), Jennifer Kay Mefford Hulett, Amanda Mefford (Neal), Stacy Mefford (Tony) and Catie Lee; her great grandchildren, Noah Huff, Isaac Huff, Phoenix Gosper, Ember Rain Gosper, Gabriel Martinez and Jessi Jane Martinez; her daughter Janice Marie Mefford; and her siblings, Edward Sharp, Roy Sharp, Dewey Sharp, Irene Webster, Frances Watson and Wavie B. Sharp Gregory Vance. She is also survived by six great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that friends and family make a donation to a charity of their choosing that holds a personal meaning.
