He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Hensley and Nellie Mullins Hensley; and his siblings, Clifford, Joseph Earl, Willie Hensley, Jr., Phyllis Turner and Jenny Lynn Benham.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Glass Hensley; his children, Shana Pugh (Daniel) and Brandon Hensley (Bethany Smith); his siblings, Raymond (Wanda), David (Judi), William Dodge Hensley (Tammy), Edna Faye Brewer, Clora Jane Noble, Patty Sue Creech (Carl), Marie Stone and Christine Turner (Lonnie); his grandchildren, Emma, Ward, Annie, Makeylee, Bronson, Koby, Brielle "Ben", Annalise and Eli; and his in-laws, Billy Ray and Ann Glass.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Johnson's Funeral Home (641 S Broadway St, Georgetown, KY 40324). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at the Crestlawn Memorial Cemetery (1879 Lexington Rd, Georgetown, KY 40324).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Corinth Christian Church, Stamping Ground, KY.
