He is survived by: his wife Susan Glass Hensley; his children, Shana Pugh (Daniel) and Brandon Hensley (Bethany Smith); his siblings, Raymond (Wanda), David (Judi), William Dodge Hensley (Tammy), Edna Faye Brewer, Clora Jane Noble, Patty Sue Creech (Carl), Marie Stone and Christine Turner (Lonnie); his grandchildren, Emma, Ward, Annie, Makeylee, Bronson, Koby, Brielle "Ben", Annalise and Eli; and his in-laws, Billy Ray and Ann Glass.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Corinth Christian Church, Stamping Ground, KY.
