He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Smith and Alice Smith. He is survived by: his children, Tico Smith, Jarvae Smith, Cassandra Thompson, Doreen Gibson and Sherry Owsley; his former wife Jacqueline Butler; and his friends, Leo Spears, Ron Lee Butler, Tim Sidney, Thomas Reed, William Snowden and Hansford "Tiger" Butler. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
