He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Henry and Grace Daniels Lancaster; his brothers, Charles T. Barlow and James L. Barlow; his wife Joy Carol Lewis; his children, Robb Barlow (Karen) of Shelbyville and Laurel Marie Barlow of Georgetown Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Christen Allen (Chase), Robbyn Everette (Cody), Lance Fortney (Tori), Adam Barlow (Allie), Kari Justice (Jordan), Emily Fortney, Tessa Lingol and Stephanie Lingol.

“Dear barlow family, we are so sorry for your loss. Bobby and joy were dear friends that we miss very much. When we were much younger, we enjoyed an annual weekend trip with the corrells, the penningtons, and us. Such lovely memories of those times together. Your parents where such wonderful mentors to us, and such fun to spend time with. You are blessed to have had such parents to guide you. We were blessed to count them friends.
