He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Fowler and Anita Maddox Fowler; his son Robert Weston "Wes" Fowler; and his brother Donald Fowler. He is survived by: his wife Justine "Tina" Mattingly Fowler; his daughters, Laura Ashley Fowler Prewitt (Westley) and Elizabeth Anne Fowler; his grandchildren, Kaysi Elizabeth Raines, Camden Wesly Joseph, Kyleigh Justine Joseph, Greyson Robert Daniel Fowler, Maddox West Prewitt and Hayden Westley Prewitt; his cousins, Bob Fowler and Raymond Fowler; and his brother David Downey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Amen House, Georgetown, KY.
