Linda Colleen (LeCompte) Barwick Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 12, 2025, at the age of 76, Linda Colleen (LeCompte) Barwick of Georgetown, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas LeCompte and Edith LeCompte (Capito); and her brother Jerry LeCompte. She is survived by: her husband Woody Barwick of Georgetown; her children, Rebecca Doll (Bryan) of Lexington, Jennifer Kidwell (Bob) of Accomack, VA, Penny Boren (Shannon) of Louisville and Rhett Barwick of Auburndale, FL.; her siblings, Frances Morse of New Castle, Martha Morgan of Eminence and Terry G. LeCompte of LaJolla, CA.; her grandchildren, Hayley Leff (Braxten), Sterling Boren (Scarlet), Mackenzie Shelton (Lance), Spencer Boren (Isabel), Brayden Barwick, Brody Doll and Beriah Fitzgerald; and her great grandchildren, Beckham, Banks, Lyla, Kamen and Aryiah.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Georgetown Baptist Church (207 S Hamilton St, Georgetown, KY 40324). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the New Castle Cemetery (947 N Main St, New Castle, KY 40050).
