It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lula Belle Hunter Owens of Georgetown, Kentucky, born in Nicholasville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 10, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Owens; her parent Cecil Hunter; and her siblings, Mary Catherine Hale, Jane McGaughey, Roberta Long, Charles R. Hunter, William A. Hunter and Ronald M. Hunter.

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Curry (Keith) of Frankfort and Jeff Owens of Georgetown; and her granddaughter Taylor Ellis (Neil) of Lawrenceburg. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Franklin County Humane Society.
