She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen "Steve" Bullock and Leona Haynes Bullock; her husband Elbert Lee "Gus" True; and her siblings, Roger Bullock, Paul Bullock and Dorothy Ford.
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Hughes (John); her granddaughter Shelley Renee Hughes (Vig Krishnamurthy); her great grandchild Ashwin Krishnamurthy; her nieces, Paula Woodworth, Rebecca Bullock, Barbara Schenk, Peggy True, Judy True Judy and Clara Bowman; her nephew Bobby True; her great-niece Jessica Coon; and her caregivers, Susie, Joyce, Visiting Angels, Monica and Kim.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home (320 W Main St, Georgetown, KY 40324). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Margaret's memory to Bluegrass Care Navigators or to a charity of the donor's choosing.
