He is survived by: his wife Joyce Tadlock Whitlock; his children, Kevin Whitlock (Rebecca), Angie Whitlock-Taylor (Collin) and Richmond; his brother Harold "Catfish" Whitlock; and his grandchildren, Sarah Whitlock, Emma Whitlock, Seth Whitlock and Addie Taylor.
