He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Adams and Clara Sawyers Adams; and his siblings, Louise Adams, Charles Adams, Shirley Shepherd, Maloy Adams and Linda Justice.

He is survived by : his wife Marita Gail Griffin Adams; his children, Randall Blake Adams, Jr. (Cynthia) and Crystal Gail Adams; his siblings, Danny Adams (Brenda) and Alice Anderson (Clinton); and his grandson Blake Griffin.
