He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Vogel and Lucy Boggs Vogel; his son Allen Vogel; and his brother Bernard Allen "Butch" Vogel. He is survived by: his wife Connie Tingle Vogel; his children, Robert Vogel, Jr., Melissa Warren (Tyree Newsan) and Patsy Vogel (Antonio Torres); and his siblings, Harry Vogel, Virginia Murphy and Rose Woolums. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
