She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Douglas Gilkerson; her parents, Everett Stanley and Ruby Elizabeth Bradford Mattox; and her brothers, Donald, Stephen and Jerry Mattox.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Florence (Teresa) and Melissa Florence; her stepdaughter Janet Chaney (Dennis); her grandchildren, Lane and Jessica Florence; and her niece Donna Lay (Ron).
