With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shemar Kyle Branch-Reed of Georgetown, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Rev. Jerome Reed and Carrie Reed (Harris) of Georgetown; his siblings, LaTisha Malone (Kermit), Vivica Branch Morris of Louisville, Sarita Moberly of Florence, Marcus Reed, Nicholas Reed of Georgetown, DeShaun Branch Morris of Lexington and Jabari Branch Morris of Louisville; his aunts, Hallie Wilson of Atlanta, Betty Harris of Atlanta, Mary Beasley of Paducah, Patsy Lindsay (Gary) of Louisville, Nancy Loving of Tucson, AZ and Lynette Thomas of Louisville; his uncle McKinley Reed (Eva) of Louisville; and his close friends, Josh Davis, Thomas Niblett and Madison Goldberg of Georgetown Host. He is also survived by Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (1330 Lexington Rd, Georgetown, KY 40324). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Nazarene Baptist Church of Leesburg, KY.
