We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2025, at the age of 83, Shirley Mae Dixon of Georgetown, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Shirley Mae may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley Mae touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband William R. Dixon; her parents, John Berry and Rebecca Berry (Woodley); and her sister Delores Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Holley of Lexington, Diane Darden of Georgetown and William R. Dixon, Jr. of Casey; and her siblings, Victoria Ross of Ruskin and Curtis Berry. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
