He is survived by: his father Robert Earl Proffitt; and his siblings, Frankie Whitt (Reba) of Bluefield, WV, Robert John (Eva), Bobby Proffitt (Patricia) of London, KY and Nellie Hugo (Tony Nantz) of London, KY. He is also survived by two nephews and three nieces.
