With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Sue Poe (Germantown, Kentucky), who passed away on August 7, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Wilson and Fannie Wilson (McCormick); her former husband JoeBob Taylor; her daughter Polly Taylor; and her siblings, Maurice Wilson, Willie Wilson, Russell Wilson, Johnny Wilson, Linda Jones and Ruth Ann Rickett.
She is survived by: her husband Yelton Poe; her children, Joseph "Bobby" Taylor and Deana Shields (Jeff); her granddaughters, Hannah Patterson (Andrew) and Sarah Shields; her great grandchildren, Hazel Polly Patterson and Ruby Jane Patterson; and her siblings, Cecil Wilson, Mike Wilson, David Wilson, Carlos Wilson, Mark Wilson and Connie Seipelt.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home (10 Bridgeville Rd, Germantown, KY 41044). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Shannon Methodist Church or Hospice of Hope.
