He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Earl Shirley and Wanda Laverne Williams; and his brother-in-law Noah Crain. He is survived by: his siblings, Jeff Shirley, Judy Rasdell (Jeff), Brenda Crain and Connie Sturgeon (Danny); and his siblings' children, Toni Cochran (Brad), Wendy Shirley, Frankie Richardson and Adam Sturgeon.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home (801 N Race St, Glasgow, KY 42141). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
