It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Jones of Glasgow, Kentucky, who passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Beverly may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Sowders and Celia Sowders; her husband Roy Jones; her daughter Venessa Lopp; and her sisters, Mary Hennion and Clorine Furlong.
She is survived by: her siblings, Luther Sowders (Jo Ann) of Bowling Green, KY., Georgia Brooks of Glasgow, KY and Jessie Mae Elmore of Bowling Green, KY; and her grandson Evan Loop (Beverly Jones).
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Auburn Chapel (213 Spring St, Auburn, KY 42206). A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:20 PM at the Auburn Cemetery.
