She was predeceased by: her parents, Ewell Groce and Helen Groce; her sister-in-law Mary Groce; and her parents-in-law, Betty Carver and Ewell Carver.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Ewell Carver; her daughters, Montina Sharp (Jeff) of Glasgow, Michelle Kingrey (Jerry) of Glasgow and Mattea Van Zee (Ted) of Lawrenceburg; and her siblings, Billy Jo Groce (Gail), Barbara Medley, William Earl Groce, Judy Wilborn (Mike) and Ronnie Groce (Mandy).

In Lieu of flowers the family request that a memorial contribution be made to the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
