He was predeceased by: his parents, Talbert Ballard and Lucille Garmon Ballard; his wife Linda G. Ballard; and his siblings, Jimmy Ballard, Garnett Ballard, Joe Ballard, Lucy Fields (Henry), Lounell Smith (Clifton) and Mary Helen Ballard.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Ballard (Tonya) and Todd Ballard (Vicki); his grandchildren, Tiffany Walker (Trevor), Mackenzie, Sydney and Maylyn; his brothers, Herbert Ballard (Brenda), Robert Ballard (Linda) and Preston Ballard (Gayle); his sister-in-law Margie Ballard; and his niece Ashley Pickerel.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Shanti Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow.
