He is survived by: his wife Nell McClard Smith; his siblings, Ruby Gosnell, Diane Steenburgen and Ray Smith (Janice); his sister-in-law Becky Smith; his close friend Joan Arterburn; and his pets, Penny and Sweetie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
