He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Simmons (Glass); his daughters, Laura Simmons Jones (Jeff) and Lynn Simmons Sutton (Doug); his grandchildren, Hannah Jones (Randy Lacey), Scott Jones, Erin Jones, Bailey Sutton (Kellie) and Blake Sutton; his great grandchildren, Sadie and Sophie Sutton; and his siblings, Lanny Simmons (Janice), Carole K Riddle (David) and Diane Allen (Bob). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home (801 N Race St, Glasgow, KY 42141). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
