He is survived by: his children, Anthony Wheeler (Alysia) of Glasgow and Amy Gootee (Shannon) of Bowling Green; his grandchildren, Korbin Parker, Khloe Cross, Lancyn Wheeler and Keragin Gootee; and his siblings, Richard Wheeler (Ann), Charles Wheeler (Judy), Sandra Wheeler (Mike) and Tammy Pulley (Bill).

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.
