She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Pruitt (Abney) and Bedford Pruitt; her daughter Linda Gearlds; her daughters-in-law, Pam Turner Gearlds and Sheena Gearlds; her siblings, James, Russell, George, Jessie, Jimmy Pruitt, Iva Watson, Lucille Rayburn, Roxie Tooley and Flo Mitchell; and her brother-in-law Miron Watson.
She is survived by: her sons, Phillip Gearlds of Glasgow, KY, Ricky Gearlds (Rhonda) of Alvaton, KY, Duane Gearlds (Pam) of Tompkinsville, KY, Gene Gearlds (Victoria) of Gamaliel, KY and Gary Gearlds (Tammy) of Smiths Grove, KY; her siblings, Bedford Pruitt, Jr. and Jean Morgan of Indianapolis, IN; and her sisters-in-law, Phillis Pruitt, Christina Pruitt and Brenda Pruitt. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Indian Creek Baptist Church (1341J Loyd Rd, Gamaliel, KY 42140). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at the Old Mt. Herman Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Corinia's memory may be made to Indian Creek Baptist Church Building Fund.
