He was predeceased by : his parents, Dallies L. Wood and Regina M. Davidson Wood; his brother Louis L. Wood; and his sisters-in-law, Helen Wood, Brenda Wood and Faye Wood.

He is survived by : his wife Dorothy J. Wood; his daughters, Alison Stone (Joshua Woodard), Alyssa Wood (Joseph Justice) and Dallia Wood; his grandchildren, Jaylin Craine, Jayla Craine, Jaliyah Ray, Lyndie Justice, Nolan Furlong and Maddux Furlong; his siblings, Aldwin, Ricky Wood, Sally Hayes, Gwendolyn Wood and Tina Wood; and his niece Tamara Wood.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home (801 N Race St, Glasgow, KY 42141). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
