He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hurt and Helen Hurt; his brothers-in-law, Nuckols, Timmy Ballard, Garnett Anderson and Charles Bartley; and his father-in-law Kyle Ballard.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Hurt of Glasgow; his children, Brian Hurt (Tabitha) of Glasgow and Wendy Hurt of Glasgow; his grandchildren, Lexie Bush, Andrew Harper, Sawyer Hurt, Kennedy Saltsman, Reese Hurt and Reagan Curtis; his siblings, Frieda Nuckols of Temple Hill and Raymond Hurt (Carolyn) of Grand Island, Nebraska; his mother-in-law Shirley Ballard; and his siblings-in-law, Duane Ballard (Kim), Ricky Ballard (Debbie), Sinda Anderson and Karen Bartley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in the form of donations to St. Judes.
