With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Cox (Glasgow, Kentucky), born in Pascagoula, Mississippi, who passed away on August 8, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmore Cox and Grace Smithermen Cox; his wife Carolyn Thomas Cox; and his brother Sydney Cox. He is survived by: his children, David Allen Cox, Alexandriea Cox and Franklin Cox (Brittnie); his grandson Jonathan Daniel Cox; and his siblings, Kathleen Benson, Rhonda Schumeier, Winford Cox (Linda) and Kenneth Cox (Donna). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. F Crow & Son Funeral Home (201 E Washington St, Glasgow, KY 42141). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM. A burial was held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (2501 N Dixie Blvd, Fort Knox, KY 40160).
