We are sad to announce that, on October 28, 2021, at the age of 86, Elizabeth Ann Combs of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elizabeth Ann Combs to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Maxey B. Combs; her sons, Stephan Combs and Scott Combs; her parents, Rev. Chris and Kathleen Ellis; and her sister Mary Dodd Ellis Thomas.

She is survived by: her son Douglas Combs (Melissa); and her brother-in-law Eldon Thomas. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and their spouses.

Due to COVID concerns, a graveside only service will be held on Saturday, November 6th, 2021 at 2:00pm at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Mary Wood Weldon Memorial Library.

I lived in Akron, Ohio, but used to visit Glasgow during the summer for many years. To me, she was a sweet, kind and loving person, and I always enjoyed our time together. I will miss her, and offer my condolences to her son Douglas and her brother-in-law Eldon Thomas. Richard Ellis”
