It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jervis Childress of Glasgow, Kentucky, who passed away on August 31, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommie Childress and Lura Thompson Childress; her sisters, Carol London, Lorene Childress, Imogene Dossey and Delta Gauthier; and her nephews, Kenneth Dossey and Kelly Dossey.

She is survived by: her sister Virginia Owen of Louisville; her brother-in-law Lonnie London of Hiseville; and her nieces and nephews, Kevin London, John London, Anthony London, Allen Dossey, Stephanie Fleischer, Belinda Roberts, Leisa Summers and June Dossey. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

The family prefers that all attendees wear a mask or face covering.

Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Hiseville Christian Church.
