Johnny Wilburn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oakley Homer and Nova Irene Groce Byrd; his wife Letha Ernestine Vincent Byrd; and his daughter Connie Byrd. He is survived by: his daughter Lynn Combs; his grandchildren, Eric Pennycuff (Kelli), Derek Pennycuff, Brian Pennycuff, Brandi Bailey (J. R.), Chad Lyons (Tiffany), Shea Jones, Dustin Smith and Stephanie Burris (Chris); his siblings, Cordell Byrd, Frankie Altstatt and Joan Hibbs (Jack); and his daughter-in-law Cindy Pennycuff. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home (801 N Race St, Glasgow, KY 42141). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
