She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Powell and Maggie Bridges Powell; her spouse Thomas Elmore "Tommy" Bellamy; and her siblings, Mabel Jordan, Carl, Earl, Billy Joe, Wendell and Botts Powell.
She is survived by: her daughter Tommie Kaye Thomas (Randy) of Glasgow; and her grandchildren, Josh Thomas (Aundi), Ben Thomas (Halie), Amanda Meek (Casey), Conlee, Jase, Leigha Kate, Trapper, Ava, Lacey, Jonah, Addie, Tate and Ruie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with her request, Katherine's family will hold a private service and requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent in her honor to the Refuge Cemetery, c/o Jason Chenoweth, P O Box 1382, Glasgow, KY 42142-1382.
