He was predeceased by: his wife Cathy Brummet Geary Smith; his parents, Martin Hill and Gladys Smith Hill; and his siblings, Sue Forrest and Leslie Smith.
He is survived by: his siblings, Numa Hill Smith, Tommy Smith (Jane), Terry Smith (Melissa), Elizabeth Johnson (Cloyd), Violet Davis (Roy), Carolyn Harper, Sarah Shaw, Janie Shaw, Judy Young (Charlie) and Polly Spillman (Richard); his grandchildren, Holley Jones, Lily Geary, Celena Gentry, Sabrina Newton and Kristin Day; and his pets, Elk and Smokie. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the A. F Crow & Son Funeral Home (201 E Washington St, Glasgow, KY 42141).
