He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Allen Deckard; and his brother Lonnie Deckard. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Herzog Deckard; his daughters, Heather Deckard of Florida and Lindsay Deckard of Glasgow; his grandchildren, Ryan Logsdon, Gannon Deckard-Logsdon, Carlin Logsdon, Jr., Serenity Logsdon, Lincoln Logsdon and Abigail Logsdon; and his sister Kathy Broadus of Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
