She was predeceased by: her husband Leon Batey; her son Tony Batey; her grandchildren, Jessie Lee Batey and Tony Lee Batey Jr.; and her parents, Raymond Edward Gulley and Nelly Ree Huff Gulley.
She is survived by: her children, Amanda Gail Batey of Glasgow and Ronald Batey (Laura) of Glasgow; her grandchildren, Philip Batey (Ariel) of Bowling Green, Aaron Batey (Lacey) of Park City and Cheyenne Gumm (Austin) of Edmonton; her daughter-in-law Jessica Batey of Park City; and her sisters, Gail Brown (Steve) of Glasgow, Virginia Gulley of Glasgow, Barbara Slayton of Glasgow and Martha Maupin of Glasgow. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the A. F Crow & Son Funeral Home (201 E Washington St, Glasgow, KY 42141). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery (303 Leslie Ave, Glasgow, KY 42141).
