He was predeceased by: his parents, Merton Hart Sr. and Virginia Fitts Hart; his daughter-in-law Sue Moneypenny; his brothers, Merton Hart of Maine and Frank Belville of Texas; his half-brother Eugene Hart of California; and his sister Martha Seace (James) of Connecticut.
He is survived by: his wife Sonjia Hart; his children, Andre Hart, Heidi Hall of Florida and Cristine McDowell of New Hampshire; and his siblings, Fred Belville of Connecticut, Eddie Hart (Rachel), Ronald Hart (Maggie) of Georgia, Marion Jacobi (Bob), Mary Pike (Paul) of Kentucky, Donna Bachand (Donnie) of Glasgow and Genny Shortt (Bob) of Florida. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
