He was predeceased by: his parents, Morrey Nethery and Alma Dennison Nethery; and his brothers, Cecil and Oral Nethery. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Nethery; his daughter Marla Carter (Chris); his grandchildren, Jesse Guffey, Chaney Guffey, Courtney Purdue, Jordan Carter and Joel Terry Carter; and his sibling's children, Dana Rollins, Susanne Smitha and Keith Nethery.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the A. F Crow & Son Funeral Home (201 E Washington St, Glasgow, KY 42141). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Glenview Christian Church (1403 Glenview Dr, Glasgow, KY 42141). A burial was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery (303 Leslie Ave, Glasgow, KY 42141).
