He is survived by : his wife Sue Peden Gillespie; his son Robert Pell Gillespie II; his grandson Robbie Gillespie of Sikeston, Missouri; his stepchildren, Emily Ogles (Lance), Micah Taylor and Brian Taylor (Jan); his stepgrandchild Taylor Ogles; and his brother William Gillespie of Maine.
