He was predeceased by: his father Oscar Sharp; his wife Jean Sharp; his son-in-law Lucky Lockerbie; and his siblings, Roy Stanton Sharp and Kathryn Ritter.

He is survived by: his daughter Carol Lockerbie; his grandchildren, Scott Lockerbie (Crissy) of New York, Kelli Nichols (Mark) of New York and Kristi Goutremout (Ron) of New York; his siblings, David Sharp and Betty Crow; his nephew Roy Sharp (Sue); and his great-niece Micki Bagby (Robert). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
