He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Buchanan; his children, Stan Buchanan (Teresa), Steven Buchanan (Elizabeth), Laura Wilson (Randy) and Donna Buchanan; his stepdaughter Tricia Schroeder (Bryan); and his siblings, Don Buchanan (Elizabeth), Ron Buchanan, Rosemary Lancaster, Brenda Combs (Jeff) and Beth Ann Spencer (Rodney). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Coral Hill Baptist Church or the Boys and Girls club in Glasgow, Kentucky.
