It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel R. Basile Jr. of Glasgow, Kentucky, who passed away on January 26, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Sabatino "Sam" Basile, Sr. and Mary Lapari Basile. He is survived by : his children, Belinda Thurman (Charles), Sophia Basile, Sabatino R. Basile (Heather) and Giovanni W. Basile (Dulce); his grandchildren, Michael, Stephanie, Angelina, Nicholas, Analis, Evan, Evaughna, Alma, Lydia, Azra, Maria, Izabela, Sammy, Amora, Marisol, Gianna and Enzo; his siblings, David Basile (Ellie Geist), Ralph Basile (Jiggy), Martin Basile (Kim) and Joanne Hamilton (Desmond); his wife Alma Rosa Basile; and his brothers, Dominic Basile and Mark Basile. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, special friends and family.
