We announce the death of Sarah Boston of Glasgow, Kentucky, who passed away on August 8, 2026, at the age of 87. Sarah will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Holland Strange, Sr. and Aline Martin Strange; her husband Herbert Boston; her daughters, Lou Ann Boston and Christy Wheeler; her son-in-law Bruce Wheeler; and her brother Holland Strange Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Sue Furlong (Mike); her grandchildren, Andy Furlong (Tabitha), Alison Fisher (John), John Furlong (Leah), Cory Wheeler (Shelby), Cate Wheeler (Joseph Ayers) and Cole Wheeler; her great grandchildren, Lily Furlong, Saber, Mallie, Jonas Fisher, Hailey, Boston Furlong and Marshall Wheeler; and her sister Sandra Baxter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be made in the form of donations to a favorite charity.
