She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Dewayne "Kenny" Matthews; and her grandparents, Herman and Mattie Lee Ballard Ward. She is survived by: her son Samuel Lee Matthews; her mother Schenella Ward of Glasgow; and her aunts and uncles, Larry Ward (Carla), Steve Ward (Kellie), Anna Logsdon (Andy) and Kelly Zunnurain (Mo). She is also survived by several cousins and other family members.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home (801 N Race St, Glasgow, KY 42141). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made toward funeral expenses.
