He is survived by: his wife Betty Spillman Jackson; his daughters, Sonja Hammer (Greg) and Stephania Coots (Joe); his grandchildren, Stone Hammer, Ashley Hammer, Summer Coots Martin (Morgan) and Jackson Coots; his siblings, Kelly R. Jackson (Carolyn), Janie L. Tharp, Carlotta F. Short (Billy) and Lisa G. Crain; and his close friend Bobby Lyons. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
