It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Steenbergen of Glasgow, Kentucky, who passed away on March 3, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sylvia Steenbergen to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Wood and Annie Lee Wood (Ward); and her siblings, Evelyn Carver, Gordon Wood, Earl Wood (Linda Jo) and Eugene Wood (Sue).

She is survived by: her husband Larry Steenbergen; her children, Preston Steenbergen (Jeanie) and Martha McCoy (Tony); her grandchildren, William Steenbergen (Lindsey) and Jody Poland (Jeremy); her great grandchildren, Lilly Steenbergen, Lexi Steenbergen, Keely Poland, Blakely Poland, Brody Poland and Conley Poland; and her siblings, Jeanette Brunett (Tommy), Russell Wood (Loretta) and Johnny Wood (Jan). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's.
