With sadness, we share the passing of Thomas Earl Walbert of Glasgow, Kentucky. Thomas, born on May 3, 1940, passed away on November 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Earl Walbert and Lera Hagan Walbert; his siblings, J. D. Walbert and Earldine Walbert; his stepmother Golda Walbert; his uncle T. C. "Carl" Walbert (Thelma); his grandfather James David Walbert (Louisa); and his cousin Edythe Walbert Burris.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his son Jon Walbert (Erica); his grandson Jon-Carter Walbert; his nephews, David Walbert (Debbie), Jay Walbert (Diane) and Lindell Walbert; his niece Leah Ann Spafford (Denny); his great-nephews, Todd Walbert (Stephanie) and Adam Spafford (Amanda); his great-niece Leslie Schaeffer (Chuck); and his cousins, Rhonda Utley Hamilton (Karl J.), Carla Kay Utley and Patricia Utley Beumer.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 7:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home (801 N Race St, Glasgow, KY 42141). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery (305 Leslie Ave, Glasgow, KY 42141).
