She was predeceased by: her parents, James Turner Elmore and Daisy Mae Mills Elmore; her siblings, Larry Elmore, Leslie Elmore, Charles Davis and Jewell Estes; and her stepson John Vernon Young.
She is survived by: her husband John Alvin Young; her children, Terri Spillman, James Earl Wilkinson (Jackie), Vickie Wilkinson and Eddie Wilkinson; her stepchildren, Terri Lyn Adams (Roy) and Terrelton Young; and her sister Jean Wilkinson. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and their spouses; and an abundance of great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 9:00 AM and from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home (801 N Race St, Glasgow, KY 42141). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
