She was predeceased by: her parents, Nell Rush Bertram and Hershel Lee Bertram of Glasgow, Kentucky.; her husband John Wooten Settle; her brother Donald Lee Bertram (Sue); and her son John Bertram Settle.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Settle Lewis of Louisville and Col. Donald Blake Settle of Elizabethtown, KY; her grandchildren, Andrew Harrison Lewis of Pittsburgh, Peter Campbell Lewis (Charli Kanupp) of Louisville, Clara Nell Lewis (Robert Broderick) of Philadelphia, Nathan Rush Settle of Elizabethtown, KY, John Silas Settle of Elizabethtown, KY and Quinten Lee Settle of Elizabethtown, KY; and her nephews, Mark Boling (Michele) of Bowling Green, KY, Ross Boling (Beverly) of Pitcairn, PA and Ben Bertram (Jessica) of Vinita, OK. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews, and her life-long.
