He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Kerney and Gladys Elmore Kerney; and his wife Sharon Kerney. He is survived by: his daughters, Shirley Kay Kerney and Leslie Kerney; his sisters, Barbara Ramey, Vickie Walden, Sarah Bragg, Elizabeth Meek, Sharon Richardson and Virginia Kerney; his stepchildren, Jimmie Cates (Cindy) and Connie Dunham; and his brother-in-law Jack Richardson (Colitta).
